Four Decades of Neurological Practice

Dr. S. Mohan Das is the Chief Consultant Neurologist at KIMS Neuroscience, Secunderabad, with over 42 years of clinical experience in neurology. He joined KIMS in March 2004 after a distinguished career at senior academic and clinical institutions including the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad.

His clinical interests span the full spectrum of neurological medicine: epilepsy management, movement disorders (including patient evaluation and selection for deep brain stimulation), syncope, depression, migraine, and cerebrovascular disease. He is one of Hyderabad's most senior neurologists, bringing both the depth of subspecialty expertise and the breadth of general neurology that complex diagnostic cases require.

Dr. Mohan Das has served as President of the Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association (1996–1997), Vice President (1995–1996), and as Organizing Secretary of the Sixth Indian Academy of Neurology (IAN) Conference at Hyderabad (1998). He delivered the Sixth Captain Venkaiah Oration at Vijayawada (1996) and the Presidential Oration at the 3rd AP Neuroscientists Meet (1997). He is a life member of the Neurological Society of India, the Indian Academy of Neurology, the Andhra Pradesh Neuroscientists Association, and the Twin Cities Neurological Society, with multiple publications in national and international neurology journals.
