Dr. Sudheer Pachipala

Epilepsy & Critical Care Neurology

Dr. Sudheer Pachipala is a Consultant Neurologist and Epileptologist at KIMS Neuroscience, having joined in August 2025 following the completion of his post-doctoral fellowship in epilepsy at KIMS (July 2024–July 2025). He holds a DM in Neurology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi — one of India's most competitive postgraduate medical training programmes — where he was the topper in the final DM Neurology examination (December 2021). He completed his MD in Internal Medicine at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, and his MBBS at Andhra Medical College, Visakhapatnam. He holds the MRCP Specialty Certification Examination (SCE) in Neurology (2023).

Dr. Pachipala's post-doctoral focus is epilepsy and status epilepticus, alongside general neurology covering stroke, critical care neurology, movement disorders, and neurovascular conditions. He received the Best Paper Award in Critical Care Neurology at IANCON 2025 and the Best Paper Award in Neurology at TNSCON 2025. He has over 15 publications in high-impact peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Neurological Sciences, Annals of the Indian Academy of Neurology, Cerebrovascular Diseases, Brain Sciences, QJM, Journal of Stroke Medicine, and Heliyon, covering stroke, micro-embolic signals, COVID-19 neurology, Wilson's disease, and clinical trial outcome measures in movement disorders.
