Dr. Sujit Kumar Vidiyala is a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon at KIMS Neuroscience with over 25 years of experience and an academic training profile that spans India and Japan. He completed his MBBS at JSS Medical College, Mysore, and his MCh in Neurosurgery at the Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad, before pursuing two international fellowships: a fellowship in Micro-Neurosurgery at Fujita Health University, Aichi, and a fellowship in Skull Base Surgery at Keio University, Tokyo.

His subspecialty expertise centres on brain tumour surgery (including complex skull base and cerebellopontine angle tumours requiring microsurgical precision in proximity to the facial nerve, cochlear nerve, and brainstem), cerebrovascular surgery, and epilepsy surgery — with additional experience in deep brain stimulation (DBS), vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), and spine surgery. The Japan fellowships give him specific training in the microsurgical anatomy and operative approaches central to CPA and skull base surgery — a domain where millimetres of separation from adjacent cranial nerves determine functional outcomes.

Dr. Vidiyala is a member of the Neurological Society of India (NSI), the Skull Base Surgery Society of India (SBSSI), and the AP & Telangana Neurological Society. He works alongside the functional neurosurgery and neurology teams in the KIMS epilepsy surgery and movement disorders care pathway.
